Friday Funnies... :)
Ok... so I just realized that it was Friday... but, I have a good excuse. I started working full-time on Thursday, and I work tomorrow, so today does not feel like Friday at all. Anyway... here's todays funnies... :)

The Attack of the Hostas!!!
I love hostas! (actually, I love most all plants... but I really love hostas...)
I'm starting to run out of spaces to put them! ;)
This one just randomly made me think of the blog title... don't know why... I think it decided to show off this year...
I love it when they poke their heads up in the spring...
...and everyday it seems I find another one who has just reappeared.

Friday Funnies...
A blog I read always has what they call "Friday Funnies," and I have always enjoyed them, so I thought I'd start my own... ;)
I may post a funny pic I've taken or seen, or maybe something that's happened to me during the week, or maybe a funny video I've seen... so be sure to stay tuned! :)

Yes, I am sitting in the middle of a pecan orchard surrounded by muddy bricks.
Yes, I am actually sitting on one of the muddy bricks.
Yes, I am trying to clean off the muddy bricks with a random piece of metal also found in the orchard.
And yes, it was raining... I promise. ;)

Spring has Sprung!
I love it when all the plants & trees start putting out their new leaves and flowers! I've enjoyed taking some pics of my yard coming alive again the past few weeks... and the weather has been just beautiful! I'll post some of the pics soon...
A few weeks ago, we went to visit my Nana... and, in between all the rain, I snapped some pics of her yard. I love being out in the country! :)

Happy Easter!
I can't believe it's already Easter... this year is already flying by!
I have been listening to this song all day today... I love it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMHyGh0RgCA&feature=related I got to hear it live in concert a few years ago... all I can say is it was amazing. I am sooo glad Jesus is not still in the grave... He's alive! He took the punishment for my sins, died in my place, and conquered the grave ... something I could never, ever hope to do. Now I don't have to fear death... He's already conquered it in my place! It was such a relief the day I stopped trying to "be good enough" and accepted the gift Jesus had been holding out to me for years. I wouldn't trade the peace I have now for anything. :)
